While researching a solution to the weather crisis, she discovers a secret that changes her perception of the world forever. Now, she races to confront this union of magic and technology before the temperature drops any lower. Working together with a man who she learned had been deceiving her, and a mage who was once an enemy, she must put together the pieces of a puzzle that hold the answers to this dilemma. If they can't find a way to trust each other and work together, the world may freeze beyond recovery. Winter's Bite is the intriguing first epic fantasy novel in the Child of Lies series.
